Nadine Lustre, born Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre on October 31, 1993 in Quezon City, entered show business at the tender age of 9. Her first stint on television was as host of the defunct RPN’s children oriented show, Storyland in 2002.
When she reached her teen years, she played bit roles in various TV shows and became a member of an all-female group called Pop Girls. She eventually left the group to pursue a solo singing career but didn’t quite hit the big time until she was tapped to play the female lead in Viva Film’s Diary ng Panget in 2014.
Her team up with James Reid was so well received making the Wattpad novel-based film a blockbuster hit. The rom-com grossed P119.5 million during its 4-week run and the JaDine love team was catapulted to fame. In just a few months, the tandem starred in another flick, Talk Back and You’re Dead, which was also a huge success at the box office. Nadine and James are both under the management of Viva Artist Agency.
Leading network ABS-CBN took notice of JaDine and signed up the two new stars with a two-year exclusive contract in August 2014. The tandem’s first project in the Kapamilya network was the Wansapanataym month-long special entitled My App Boyfie.
In May 2015, Nadine starred in the film Para sa Hopeless Romantic, alongside James Reid, Julia Barretto and Iñigo Pascual. She also had a special role in the horror film Chain Mail by Viva Films, which was shown in August 2015.
Apart from acting, Nadine Lustre also dabbles in singing and has recorded several singles and albums including the official soundtracks of her movies as well as a self-titled album.
Nadine is currently seen in her first teleserye with James entitled On The Wings Of Love. The series is one of the top-raters of the Kapamilya network.
