Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2015 Official Entries

MMFF 2015 Official EntriesCome Christmas Day, Filipino films will once again take over local cinemas for the annual Metro Manila Film Festival. Pinoy film fanatics will have a field day as only locally-produced films, specifically the 8 official entries to the festival, will be screened in all cinemas all over the country for two weeks starting December 25th.

Last June 20, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), organizer of the Metro Manila Film Festival, announced the eight films that made it as official entries to the film fest. Over the months, one of the entries, Hermano Pule staring Aljur Abrenica, was pulled out due to funding issues and was replaced by the John Lloyd Cruz starrer, Honor Thy Father.  Other entries also made some changes in casting and titles.

The Vic Sotto and AlDub starrer, Romcom-in Mo Ako, was renamed My Bebe Love while Kris Aquino’s All You Need Is Pag-Ibig, formerly called Pamilyang Lab Luv Love and MR and MRS Split, kicked out Herbert Bautista from the cast and was replaced by Derek Ramsay.

Cesar Montano took over Robin Padilla’s role in Nilalang after the latter decided to beg off from the project due to his wife’s Mariel Rodriguez recent miscarriage.
