Gianmatteo Fernan Guidicelli, better known as Matteo Guidicelli (born March 26, 1990), is a Filipino-Italian actor, television host, model, and triathlete. He was initially known from his racing career which earned him numerous awards, including Karter of the Year for three times.
He took an interest in the performing arts and attended Columbia College in Chicago for two years to pursue a course in musical theater. He eventually returned to the Philippines to try his luck in show business which was not difficult due to his good looks and charm.
He first appeared in the fourth season of the youth oriented sitcom, Let's Go (Go Kada Go), in 2007, and was given supporting roles in other Kapamilya shows such as Kung Fu Kids and Ligaw Na Bulaklak.
He got his biggest break in 2010 when he was cast as the leading man in the fantasy television series, Agua Bendita, which starred Andi Eigenmann. The series catapulted both Matteo and Andi to fame. He was then given more projects including hosting stints on the defunct noon-time variety show Happy Yipee Yehey! and ASAP.
In 2011, Matteo starred as one of Kim Chiu's leading men in My Binondo Girl. The following year, he starred opposite Jessy Mendiola in afternoon soap, Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Paraiso. In 2013, he reunited with Agua Bendita co-star Andi Eigenmann in the TV adaptation of Galema, Anak Ni Zuma. He currently co-hosts The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition: Doubles, alongside Iza Calzado and Robbie Domingo.
Matteo Guidicelli has also starred in a couple of movies, the Sarah Geronimo-Gerald Anderson starrer, Catch Me I'm In Love (2011), and My Cactus Heart with former girlfriend Maja Salvador. Apart from Maja, Matteo was also linked to his Paraiso co-star, Jessy Mendiola. He is now being romantically linked to Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo.
