Enchong Dee – The Heartthrob Champion

Enchong DeeEnchong Dee is a Filipino actor, model, and champion swimmer. He is the younger brother of former actor-model, AJ Dee. Enchong is currently part of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, he played the roles of Blue in the teen-oriented show Abt Ur Luv, Jojo on the soap opera Katorse and Jomari Buenavista on the series Tanging Yaman.

Born Ernest Lorenzo Dee on November 05, 1989 in Naga City, Enchong finished secondary education at the Naga Hope Christian School and went to De La Salle University Manila- College of St. Benilde for college. He is a proficient swimmer, winning over 400 medals in various competitions. He was once part of the Philippine National Swim Team and has participated in the SEA Games and 2006 Asian Games.

His first TV appearance came in 2006 when he appeared in the daytime talk show Home Boy as one of the guests. He caught the eye of a modeling agency and soon he appeared in several advertising campaigns including Bench, KFC and Timex.

In 2007, he forayed into acting via Komiks: Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkantao. He eventually appeared in other Kapamilya shows including Abt Ur Luv books 1 & 2, My GirlYour Song Presents: My Only Hope, Komiks Presents: Nasaan Ka Maruja? and Tayong Dalawa.

His biggest break came in 2009 when he was cast as one of the leading characters in the teen drama, Katorse,with Erich Gonzales and Ejay Falcon. More television projects followed including Tanging Yaman, Magkaribal, Maria La del Barrio, andIna Kapatid Anak. His last television series was Muling Buksan Ang Puso, with Julia Montes and Enrique Gil.

Enchong Dee also starred ins several films including Cinema One Originals’ Paano Ko Sasabihin?, Sa’Yo Lamang, I Do, The Reunion, Four Sisters and a Wedding, Tuhog and Call Center GirlHe is set to star in Once A Princess, a reunion movie with Erich Gonzales to be directed by Laurice Guillen. Enchong and Erich have worked together in numerous TV and film projects including Katorse, Paano Ko Sasabihin?, I Do, Tanging Yaman, Magkaribal and Maria La Del Barrio.
